I think my career as a stand-up comedian really started from my passion for music and my love and talent in singing. After college, I worked as a classroom teacher in daytime and moonlighted as a karaoke bar singer. In one of my performances, I was spotted by an owner of a comedy bar in Alabang and from there as the saying goes, the rest is history.
For me, being a performer is a profession, a lifetime career and my bread and butter. It requires dedication, concentration and it could be very demanding physically, mentally and emotionally.
I considered myself very lucky to be a part of this business—learning and living out of something that I really love doing—singing.
